Are you ready for this? I am about to forecast for you the next big thing in vibrators.
Sure, there are a lot of interesting luxury rechargeable companies out there, but it seems like it’s been awhile that there has been fresh air infused with this niche. The existing companies are making some cool stuff (I’m looking at you, Je Joue, with the Nuo and Dua), it’s true, but there hasn’t been a new serious competitor in awhile. There have been countless crowdfunding campaigns it feels like, but very few who have come out successful on the other end of that (like Crave, who I’m not particularly impressed by, and Minna, whose doing some amazing things). But there hasn’t been anyone playing with the big kids as of late… which is why I’m so excited about L’Amourose.
I’ve watched carefully as they came onto the scene – heard the first murmurs of the first reviewers trying their products, saw them quietly start to come into the US market, and got my hands on a few of their products.
The Paramour Set, which incorporates all of the products above, is currently unavailable in the US - though you can buy them separately, it seems like a waste to buy more than one for interchangeable use. Each is a silicone sleeve that fits the black, kidney-bean shaped rechargeable vibrator in a way that's secure and comfortable, the remote is rechargeable (THANK YOU! Most rechargeable vibrators with remotes have batteries in the remote), the remote is actually the charging dock for the bullet vibe, and it incorporates a touch pad. With the touch pad, you can change vibration intensity and record vibration patterns, which is also new to this kind of product. It's doubtful anyone will use all of the options available, but they're solid products.
Somehow, L’Amourose has managed to create something new and interesting in an area that has felt overdone for years. Their products are strong and rumbly, incredibly well-designed, beautiful, and intuitive. I still can’t get over the different shore levels (read: squish and stretch) present in the Paramour Set – or, separately, CLARKE+, LANA+, and MAE+ - what needs to stretch does, what needs to be firm is. I’ve never seen a warming vibrator that wasn’t a gimmick before Rosa Rouge, and the shape of the Rosa is refreshing among the other options available.
Rosa Rouge was initially meant to be a special edition of the Rosa, but the design has been so popular that they've decided to keep it. This is one of the most pricy vibrators I own at about $250 MSRP, which is definitely a big chunk of change. However, the heating aspect is so unique - I've seen one or two warming vibrators, but they were all just trying to capitalize on a motor malfunction by saying 'we meant for this to happen! forreals, guys!' - but this one is intentional and really awesome. Beyond that, the controls are super awesome and you can make it vibrate in the base or in the shaft separately or together - which is great for people who hate vibrationhands, who can turn off the motor in the base. I could keep rambling about how awesome it is, but you'll have to wait for the review - I will say this; the Rosa and Rosa Rouge are incredibly strong vibrators with great functionality. This is the design I and most other reviewers are excited about.
They’re elegant solutions to vibrating rechargeable pleasure, and I’m not the only one talking about them. I’ll have reviews out soon, but I wanted to call it first: L’Amourose will be the next big thing. I think their products will be raved about on the same level as the Mona 2, or the WeVibe Tango – arguably the two most raved about vibrators currently on the market.
The products are pricy… but so, so worth it. Click here to check them out, and feel free to ask me questions about the Rosa Rouge, Paramour Set, and Vera while you wait for my reviews. I’ll link them here as I finish them.
