Eroticon 2017

Eroticon is described as "a weekend of learning, socializing, and fun for sex bloggers, erotica writers, and erotic creatives." Located in London, it offers me the opportunity to meet with, interview, and network with bloggers and companies as an American sexuality blogger and journalist that I would not normally get to meet. As a sponsor, whether you're on that side of the world or this, it gives you the opportunity to have your name associated with my blogposts, social media, and writings that come about as a result of this trip. The social media visibility alone is an amazing opportunity, as well as plentiful text links on the blog.

I cannot afford the registration, travel, and lodging without the help of a sponsor or multiple sponsors; your support gives me a ton of benefits, but there are also a variety of valuable opportunities being offered in exchange that would normally not be on offer. As a journalist, I can also potentially offer coverage of your company or new products to various outlets; this cannot be guaranteed since I'll have to pitch articles but we can talk out details. Feel free to let me know if you have further ideas for how we can make sponsorship worthwhile for you!

Diamond Sponsorship

$2,000

  • 1 Year Spot Advertisement on www.sex-atonal.com worth $750

  • 1 All-Inclusive Sponsored Post on www.sex-atonal.com worth $550 | Details can be discussed. The Sponsor will also get mentions and links throughout a separate post about the event and a spot advertisement, worth an additional $350. Product review and product pictures as part of social media coverage are also an option.

  • 3 one-hour skype or in-person (pending availability/location) consultations for your company based on your needs, whether you want some advice on product design, social media presence, starting or re-vamping a blog, or inclusive marketing. These are all things I've consulted on before for startups and established businesses alike; we can discuss details when you confirm and payment clears for this sponsorship level. worth $400.

  • Social Media Coverage For The Entirety of the Trip worth $1,000 | Facebook and Instagram posts related to the trip, including days leading up in London with other bloggers and extracurriculars, will tag and mention the Sponsor. Twitter and Snapchat: mentions when applicable/possible, including daily posts specifically calling out the Sponsor for their sponsorship or recommending products. I frequently use Instagram's "Stories" and get pretty good visibility and feedback when I do. I will also post about my experiences in various private social media groups used by educators and bloggers, mentioning your sponsorship, something only offered at this level which cannot be valuated.

  • Exclusive Sponsorship: this covers all of my expenses, so you alone will be featured on the blog and social media in relation to the event, except when other companies are applicable, for example when I meet with other companies on the trip or visit a business while in London. The worth cannot be calculated, but it will mean that your company is the only one being mentioned and advertised on my website and social media in correlation with my trip.

  • Any and all options can be "saved" if you have a big release or something coming up in the next year. Just talk to me about what works best for you; I'd love to accommodate your needs!

Options for Smaller Sponsorships

There is a potential for companies to pledge smaller amounts if I can secure multiple companies to sponsor this trip; Gold Sponorship is the bare minimum for covering my needs in traveling, ticket, and hotel. Please feel free to contact me about the potential if you’d like to invest in this trip but do not have a large budget; I’d be happy to work something out with you.

The Numbers

My following is primarily in the industry; I’m someone who companies, bloggers, and other industry professionals trust for my honest feedback and know-how, and I’ve catered my blog and social media towards that in many ways. Among bloggers in my niche, I have an average-to-above-average following on most social media networks, but I also have access to secret sex educator and sex blogger groups and influence a number of companies with my advice, making my voice valuable in a unique way. My numbers are as follows as of Monday, November 29th:

Social Media

Twitter 3,771 Followers @sex_ational

  • Twitter is my main social media, and as you can see from the screenshots of my Twitter analytics numbers, things have ramped up significantly over the last three months. Impressions more than doubled from September to October and almost doubled again in November. Profile visits and mentions have also steadily risen, and I can only foresee things continuing in this trend as time goes on.

Facebook 2,562 Likes

Instagram 808 Followers

Website

These numbers are according to Squarespace analytics. Dark grey measures visits, medium grey measures page views, and light grey measures audience. September was a bigger month for posts with one very personal post about Brock Turner posted in the beginning of the month and a post about Woodhull in the middle of the month. From November on, I'll be posting more on the blog which will definitely impact traffic.

Payment

I accept payment via Paypal, Dwolla, or Direct Deposit. Payments are required before January 2017 in order to have time to purchase registration, plane tickets, and for booking a hotel room.
